Cloud-Based & Mobile Responsive
Using a mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop, Mitzvah Tools is accessible and ready to use. If you can access the internet, you can access Mitzvah Tools. No need to worry about downloads, storage space, or operating systems.
Robust Program Management
The entire team – the student, the tutor or educator, program administrator – all can interact using Mitzvah Tools, managing together the study process from the beginning through to completion and service. Whether you’re an individual or a small or large team, the program enables you to work together to create the learning experience you want the student and family to experience.
Comprehensive Status Dashboard
The dashboard shows each user the status of each student – assignments completed, assignments remaining, sessions attended, sessions missed.
Full Scheduling & Attendance
Scheduling or changing an appointment with the tutor or member of clergy can be done directly through Mitzvah Tools. Worried about a student’s attendance? See the attendance history immediately.
Remote Learning
Can’t make it into the synagogue for a lesson? Each student’s resources and their assignments can be accessed through Mitzvah Tools. The student can even attach a recording of their away-lesson and send it in for their tutor to review.
Tutors and other team members who are off-site can similarly work from any location where they have internet access. Mitzvah Tools even helps facilitate video chats between tutor and student.
Collaborative Task Management
Each member of the team can collaborate with other members to insure that designated tasks fully represent the work that each student needs to accomplish. A task added by any member of the team will be visible to all team members, and the student and parents.
Multi-Media Resource Bank
The resource bank comes preloaded with chanting of every Torah and Haftarah Portion, assign them verse by verse to your students. You can also upload and share your own audio and video files, texts or documents with every student or specific students. Share anything and everything, recorded Torah, Haftarah, Tefillah tracks, pages of Torah commentary, Tikkun pages – the resource bank will accommodate your synagogue’s needs and handle all the storage and backup.
Commenting and Communications
All members of the team can communicate with each other using Mitzvah Tools. Students and parents can communicate with their team members as well.
Privacy levels are in place so that sensitive communications will reach only those who should participate in the conversation.
